Collaboration is the key to success in injury prevention

City of Melville

Congratulations to the City of Melville who are leading the way for safe communities in Western Australian local governments.

After successfully implementing the Injury Prevention Priority Setting process in 2014 in partnership with the Injury Control Council of WA, the City of Melville was presented with a commendation award for injury prevention from the Public Health Advocacy Institute of WA (PHAIWA) on Tuesday 8 December 2015. PHAIWA’s Local Government Report Card Project aims to promote programs, initiatives and policies in Western Australian local governments that improve the health and well-being of young people, at an annual award ceremony.
